Faxing Quesions
How will I know if all the faxes were sent?
At the end of the fax broadcast we'll supply you with a report to show you all your statistics. It will show the faxes that were successful and also show the faxes that couldn't go through because of factors like changed numbers etc.
Do you give refunds for the fax numbers that didn't go through?
No. What! What do you mean no??? Ok, let me explain. Instead of giving out refunds for every number that doesn't go through - which would eat up our staffs time and force us to charge more for our service - we came up with a way better idea. One that's better for the both of us.
We decided to advertise the size of our lists around 20 percent less than they actually are. So for Vancouver we advertise 34,000 but in reality it's around 42,000. This way when there are bad numbers, which there always is, you won't have to worry about being ripped off and we won't have to deal with lots of paper work and accounting issues.
Obviously there won't be anywhere near a 20 percent bounce rate, it's more like 2 percent. But this way we can way overdeliver so you'll be way more than happy... and we save lots of time, stress and hassle. This way we both win!
What time do you send the faxes?
We understand you don't want to bug, annoy or harrass your prospects in any way. That's just good business sense and plain common courtesy. We don't want to tick off anyone as well, this is our business afterall. So we only send out faxes between 9am and 9:30pm. We never send faxes in the middle of the night.
What if people complain about receiving my faxes?
It's a fact of life - people are going to complain. People complain about anything these days so yes, we get complaints about faxes, we won't lie. But... you'd be pleasantly surprised, if not shocked by the actual percentage of people that want to be removed from your list. The question below will answer this.
So you're more likely wondering how we deal with these somewhat annoyed people. Well you can rest assured that we treat any upset person with the utmost politeness and respect. The bottom of all faxes we send out have a removal number for them to call, as does this website on our Contact Us page.
When they phone, we apologize if we've caused them any inconvenience and then assure them they'll be removed within the next few business days. As a bonus guesture, or peace offering if you will, we offer to help get them removed from all other fax lists throughout Canada. By the end of our conversation, we always part on friendly terms.
What percentage of people usually request to be removed?
We've been in this business for more than 15 years and during that whole time removal requests have always stayed the same - around 2 percent. You would think that we would eventually run our lists dry but that's just not the case. Every month we add far more than 2 percent of new numbers back into our lists so we have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Do you actually remove people from your lists?
I'm not offended you've asked this, in fact I don't blame you at all. So many other fax marketing companies have really tarnished this industry because of this very issue.
YES.. we actually remove names and numbers from our lists. Why would we want to purposely annoy people and keep our lists full of these people that obviously don't want to recieve any fax marketing. That would only serve to lower the value of our lists and ultimitely our business... something we never take chances with.

Fax List Questions
How often are your lists updated?
We're continually updating our lists everyday. This is done a couple of ways. One is by the people we remove that don't want to recieve faxes anymore. The second way is from numbers that are out-of-service. And the third way is from up-to-date numbers we regularly purchase from huge list brokers. You never have to worry about purchasing an old, stale list from us, we guarantee.
What type of list should I choose?
A lot will depend on the type of business you have. If you have a restaurant or roofing company located in Vancouver or Toronto, it wouldn't make much sense sending a fax out to all of Canada. You'd be better off investing in the Vancouver fax marketing list or the Toronto fax marketing list and then market to them multiple times to build up your business.
On the other hand, you may have a business that is in a position to market to a much broader audience, like a national insurance or car rental company. In this case, it would make much more sense to invest in a bigger list like Eastern Canada, Western Canada or even all of Canada.
If you want to target a certain industry, you can invest in those types of lists as well. Say you run a tool rental store and you want to reach contractors in Toronto. You know that there are certain tools that just don't make sense for a contractor to buy when they only use them once or twice a year. You have those tools and would like to be the business they think of when they need to rent them. You could invest in the Toronto fax marketing list of all contractors there and send your fax only to them.
So, as you can see, there's lots of variables and choices when it comes to the list you will ultimately choose. When you call us to book your campaign, we'll help you choose a list that will be perfect for your business.
What's included in the fax list I purchase?
Not only do you receive the fax number, you also recieve the address, the company name, the business owners (or managers etc) name, the phone number and the SIC code. Pretty good deal hey.
This way, if you want to reach them in other ways after they've raised their hand and shown some interest in your product or service because of your fax, you can.
How do I look after my fax list?
One of the bonuses you get from purchasing a fax list from us is having the choice of letting us manage it for you. We can host it on our servers, keep it clean from not-in-service numbers and upset people and have it ready to fax to within the hour.
Of course, you're always welcome to manage it yourself as well. When you're ready to go, just email it to us and we'll upload it for the duration of the fax broadcast and then delete it straight afterwards. You'll be responsible for any numbers that need to be removed and we'll forward those to you as they phone us.
Will you resell my personal list or let other clients use it?
No. We would never steal from our clients. Your list is yours and only yours. If you give us your personal list for us to upload so we can fax to it, we'll delete it right afterwards if you don't want us to host it on our servers. And we are happy to sign confidentiality agreements as well to make sure your privacy is guaranteed and your property protected.
How can I remove people from my fax list?
If you've purchased a list from us and want us to look after it for you then you don't have to worry about it. We'll be happy to do it for you free of charge.

Design Questions
Will All Points Solutions name be on my fax?
By law we need to provide a number for people to call if they want to be removed. Because of this, we put our name and number at the very bottom of the page in very small writing. This way we can take all of these calls for you and look after the hassle of removing them and keeping your list clean and legal.
Can I get you to design my fax?
Of course you can. We'd be more than happy to put our 15 years of fax design experience to work for you. We only charge a nominal fee to do this. Phone us for details.
Do you have any fax design tips?
Our biggest tip would be to keep your design as clutter free as possible. Some people try to fit way too much into a single page. Don't do it. You have 3 to 5 seconds for people to read it before they throw it out.
If you don't get their interest in that time, your fax goes into the rubbish. If the page is full of tiny hard to read print, how on earth do you think they will be interested? If you have lots to say, save it for the second and third contacts, after they've raised their hands and shown some interest in your product or service. Your first fax should get to the point quickly.
